Fešáci is a Czech country band founded in 1967 by violinist Jan Turek, guitarist Karel Poláček, and banjoist Pavel Brümer (none of them are in the current line-up anymore, J. Turek lasted until his death in 2016). The band was originally called Greenes, then renamed Bluegrass Hoppers, and in 1974, after the arrival of Petr Novotný, Tomáš Linka, Michal Tučný, and manager Oskar Hahn, they finally changed their name to Fešáci.
