At the end of 2017, Meijer started working on her singing career. In November 2017 she released her first single under the name "Op Me Monnie", the single received a lot of attention and reached the national media from the Netherlands several times.[4][5] After this Meijer released the singles "Vroom" and "Lit".[6] In March 2018, she released the single "Fan" in collaboration with rapper Ronnie Flex. The single reached 1 million streams within one day and ended on the first place of the Dutch single charts, Single Top 100.[7] Later on Meijer released various singles like "Evoluatie", "High", "Slangen" and "Zonder Jou".[8][9] In June 2018, Meijer released the single "Wine Slow (Remix)" in collaboration with the Dutch rappers Ronnie Flex, Idaly and Bizzey.[10] Rapper Bizzey was also Meijer her manager from end 2017 until November 2018, he helped her with the start of her career.[11]
Meijer appeared on the 19th season of the Dutch television serie Expeditie Robinson in September 2018 and in StukTV's Jachtseizoen in November 2018.[12] In November Meijer got her own documentary series on Videoland which premiered in the Tuschinski cinema in Amsterdam. Since end 2018 Meijer has been signed at the management office of Ali B.[13]
In June 2019, Meijer won a FunX Music Award in the category Artist of the year - female[14], she was the first one to win the Award.[15]
