In Moldova, the years 2007 and 2017 were declared the Year of Eugen Doga in honor of his 70th and 80th birthdays, respectively. Chișinău’s main pedestrianized thoroughfare has been named Eugen Doga Street in his honor. The World Intellectual Property Organization recognized his outstanding achievements in music by awarding him a special certificate in 20071.
Eugen Doga’s compositions have left an indelible mark on the world of music, and his waltz from the film “A Hunting Accident” remains particularly beloved1.
