Ernest B. Schoedsack was an American cinematographer, producer and director. He worked on several films with Merian C. Cooper including "King Kong" (1933), "Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness" (1927) and "The Most Dangerous Game" (1932). Schoedsack also served as a cameraman in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War I, serving in France. He also flew combat missions. In the 1920s, Schoedsack helped Polishโ€“Soviet War refugees escape Poland and also helped refugees escape the Greco-Turkish War. He also worked with the American Red Cross.
