Ernest B. Schoedsack was an American cinematographer, producer and director. He worked on several films with Merian C. Cooper including "King Kong" (1933), "Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness" (1927) and "The Most Dangerous Game" (1932). Schoedsack also served as a cameraman in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War I, serving in France. He also flew combat missions. In the 1920s, Schoedsack helped PolishโSoviet War refugees escape Poland and also helped refugees escape the Greco-Turkish War. He also worked with the American Red Cross.
