Erica had an agent at age five and was starring in films by age 10. She was also serious about ballet and performed in numerous shows at the Wang Center of Boston. She even performed in Operettas like ‘Amahl and the Night Visitors,’ playing the lead part of Amahl.

Erica Rhodes started acting on the NPR radio show, ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ with Garrison Keillor at the age of ten. She played Keillor’s conscience and shared a dressing room with Allison Janney. That show was later in a compilation of skits nominated for a Grammy.
Ever since, Erica has appeared regularly on the show. She’s had the opportunity to star alongside Meryl Streep and Martin Sheen. And has performed all across the country including Town Hall, NYC; the Greek, LA; and Tanglewood, MA. She will be doing the NYE special show in Hawaii to bring in 2012.
Erica Rhodes was also playing music and studied the cello from a young age. Before graduating high school, her drama coach described her as an “actress who thinks she’s a cellist.’ Erica was accepted into Boston University on scholarship for her cello and majored in cello performance.
After a year of cello, Erica decided to move to NYC where she was re-introduced to her acting. She studied at the Deena Levy Theatre school and then got into the traveling theater company TheatreWorks USA in the show “Ramona Quimby”
Erica then studied at the Atlantic Theater Conservatory, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy. Directly after graduating, Erica was cast in ‘Plague Town’ directed by David Gregory.
David Gregory encouraged her to move to LA if she wanted to pursue a film career. So right after shooting ‘Plague Town,’ she made the move.
Erica has also starred in numerous independent films including, ‘Plague Town,’ ‘Go West,’ ‘Killer Eye,’ ‘Big Sky,’ ‘Javatown,’ ‘Waiting for Dracula,’ and more.
For three years she starred on the hit webseries, ‘Upstairsgirls’ which now has over 200 million views. She was nominated by the LA Comedy Awards as ‘Most Hilarious Leading Actress in a Web series’ for her role as Sandy. And she was featured opposite Rob Lowe in a web series sponsored by Butterfinger.
Erica is currently producing and starring in a short film called ‘Following.’
