Description: British actress Emily Bowker was born and raised in Bristol, graduating with a BA HONS in Acting from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Alongside her screen work Emily enjoys a successful stage career, recently headlining in the 2017 Brits Off Broadway festival in NYC with the hit play Invincible. On television Emily is best known for her moving portrayal as Dot Spenlow in the BAFTA award winning series Call The Midwife, and as Jemima Benjamin the recruitment consultant widely despised by Eastenders fans for sacking the soap's longest standing character Dot (as played by June Brown).
