Training
After obtaining her college certificate at the Arthur-Rimbaud college and her baccalaureate in 2002 at the Raymond-Queneau high school in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Élodie Varlet went to Montpellier to study cinema and then completed her studies at an IUP (professional university institute) with a master's degree in audiovisual design and production in Marseille.
Career
She acted in a few plays and was introduced to the professions of stage management and editing. After a few experiences as a director and a small appearance on the video for Derniers Baisers by Laurent Voulzy, she was selected for the cast of the series Plus belle la vie. She plays Estelle, a young girl treated for autoimmune hepatitis. She played the role of Gabrielle d'Estrées, mistress of King Henry IV, in the television film The Assassination of Henri IV.

In 2012, she participated in the show Fort Boyard.

In January 2014, Élodie declared that she was leaving the series Plus belle la vie for an indefinite period. A few days later, it was revealed that the actress was expecting her first child with actor Jérémie Poppe (whom she met on the set of the series in August 2010). On April 12, 2014, she gave birth to a boy named Marcus. In February 2017, Élodie and Jérémie announced, via a photo posted on social networks[1], expecting their second child. In September 2017, she announced her birth: a boy, born in July 2017[2], named Solal[3].

Après avoir obtenu son Brevet des Collèges, au Collège Arthur Rimbaud et son bac L en 2002 au lycée Raymond Queneau de Villeneuve d'Ascq, Élodie Varlet part à Montpellier étudier le cinéma puis complète son cursus avec un IUP et un master de conception et réalisation audiovisuelle à Marseille.
Elle joue dans quelques pièces de théâtre et s'initie aux métiers de la régie et du montage. Après quelques expériences en tant que réalisatrice et une petite apparition sur le clip de Derniers Baisers de Laurent Voulzy, elle est retenue au casting de la série Plus belle la vie. Elle y incarne Estelle, une jeune fille soignée d'une hépatite auto-immune, qui tombe amoureuse de Rudy Torres (Ambroise Michel), étudiant en médecine qui s'occupe d'elle. Elle tient le rôle éponyme de Gabrielle d'Estrées, maîtresse du roi Henri IV, dans le téléfilm. Elle parle trois langues : anglais (courant), espagnol (bon niveau) et italien (bon niveau).
