Saary was born in London and, while young, spent time in both the Middle East and High Wycombe. She studied Geography at University College London, graduating in 1999 and joining the Met Office as a trainee forecaster in December 2000. Saary's interests include fitness and cooking, and she has been vegan since the age of eighteen.
