Ecos Falsos began in 2001 when college friends got tired of playing cover songs and decided to make music. They wanted a noisy rock, humorous without being pathetic, with decent lyrics and choruses flammable. Ecos Falsos (in english, "Echoes false") in ufology means the signal received by radar which is supposed alien activity. And that's all you need to know about the name.
