Description:
When young Greg Cima moves out to the Southwest with his mother, he expects a smooth transition and a good start to a new life. His reception however, is far from what he hoped. Since Greg's father is an inmate in a nearby penitentiary, the town looks down on Greg, and assumes that "like father like son" he will be delinquent. Greg hopes that his football talent will allow him to gain acceptance, but when the town's discrimination keeps him off the field, all seems lost.
