Big, buff magician-in-training Louie, the hero of the comedy-adventure series Maho Senshi Riui (Magical Soldier Riui, 2001), is as strong as an ox and almost as bright. Bored with his studies, he wants to join three female adventurers who need a magician to help them locate some treasure. Diminutive Merril is money-hungry; muscular Genie is a temperamental ex-soldier; blonde Melissa is a devotee of the god Mylee.
