Long Dream AKA Nagai Yume - Region 1 DVD

Higuchinsky was on the right track story wise, with good actors, unfortunately, the budget took away some credit from what could have been a really wonderful film...though the tv movie look passed for uzumaki, this one lost some credibility for it...in my opinion

Yamauchi, a young doctor, met a mysterious patient at the hospital who complains about sleeping too much. And in his sleep, he has very long dreams in which he goes to faraway futuristic worlds. Before long, Mukouda starts mutating into an alien-like being.
