The 1995 Godzilla classic was directed by Takao Okawara (the '93 Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Godzilla 2000), with Koichi Kawakita (Mothra, Mothra 2) as the special fx director. The Oxygen Destroyer was the ultimate weapon used in the early Godzilla film, but a new monster, Destroyer, is born as the result of the weapon's application. Now, the monster and Godzilla - whose nuclear energy is nearly out of control - must be stopped to avoid a catastrophic nuclear meltdown.
