Host Ted Koppel travels to the University of Chicago to discuss the growing problem of the lack of a comprehensive health care play in the United States. On hand are a panel of experts including congressman, doctors and representatives of several health care companies who field questions raised by members of the audiences as they explore possibilities of a national health care insurance policy and the roadblocks to implementing such a plan.
Other topics explored withing the program are: the problems overburdened doctors experience, private hospitals, unnecessary procedures and the financial drain of malpractice insurance.
