Code Lyoko, which aired on Toonami in 2005, was made in France but tries to look Japanese. Ulrich, Odd, Yumi, and Jeremy attend a junior high that serves as headquarters in their battle against the super virus X.A.N.A. Using Jeremy's computer skills, the three friends travel to the cyber-world Lyoko, where they defend the sprite Aelita against X.A.N.A.'s monsters until she can disable the virus' attacks on the world.
