When Brazilian-Japanese Mario is unleashed from jail, he sets out to rescue his beautiful Chinese girlfriend, Kei, from being deported from Japan. Back in Tokyo he tries to raise the cash to buy counterfeit passports for him and Kei to flee to Australia. Along the way the couple find themselves face-to-face with violent Yakuza and Triads, and must fight for their freedom.
The director's tongue-in-cheek, comic-like treatment of the Yakuza genre is increasingly more creative. There's also Michelle Reis, looking stunning as always. This is yet another fine example of the great Takashi Miike at work. Packed with incredible set-pieces this full-throttle movie is one ride you won't want to get off! One scene sees two CGI chickens battle it out Matrix style in a cockfight!
