Catholic Life in America: Francis Cabrini - Mother of Immigrants - Region 0

From 1891 to 1917 Mother Cabrini worked among Italian Immigrants and, together with her Missionary Sisters, promoted an historical movement of concern for the socio-religious needs of the immigrants. Frances Cabrini exercised an important influence of the shaping of American Catholic history, of women's history in the U.S. and of the Great European migration of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
