When Ramona outgrows her favorite bunny rabbit pajamas, Mrs. Quimby presents her with a brand-new pair--complete with cars and flags printed all over it--and for once, they are not Beezus's hand-me-downs! Based on the popular children's series, Eight-year-old Ramona Quimby feels that no one really understands her. She's bright, imaginative, and according to her older sister Beezus, a "pest." Every day she tries to find out more about herself and her world, with an optimism that only children possess. The series follows Ramona's adventures in school and at home as her family struggles with financial woes and the coming of a new baby. The series was produced by Atlantis Films, Ltd. with Lancit Media Productions, Ltd.
Sarah is a Canadian actress, singer, film director and screenwriter, better known for her role as Sarah Stanley in the Canadian television series, Road to Avonlea. She has also starred in such films as The Sweet Hereafter, Guinevere, Go, The Weight of Water, My Life Without Me, and Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Dawn of the Dead.
