「アニメＴＶで発見 ！！ たまごっち」 Anime TV de Hakken!! Tamagotchi or "Animated Tamagotchi Found on TV!!" was a Japanese-only anime that aired on Fuji Television from July 7, 1997, to March 21, 1998. It was released only on VHS by Bandai. The series is related to the toy line Tamagotchi, a word derived from combining the Japanese "tamago" (or egg) and the English "watch."
