I love me some bloody gory horror but I absolutely hated this movie. It felt as though the setting was wasted (that was one of my main draws to this film - the thing that set it apart from other vampire movies for me) and the action was mostly predictable and, at times, utterly ridiculous. There are some nice style shots but when your villains are hardly menacing and there' s no suspense a movie like this barely works.

a creepy movie. suspenseful and beautiful.
i loved this movie. it has style and drama. the characters are well rounded, the suspense palpable, and the gore well done.
lets hope the make more and make them this good.

This was one of the better horror movies I have seen for quite a while now. It's just a shame I had to watch the movie in bits and pieces over a couple of days, due to a busy schedule!!

Quite brutal, lots of blood, and a decent story...as well as decent acting. I really liked it, and will definitely watch it again.
