Plot Synopsis
Tsuzuki Asato and Kurosaki Hisoka work for a unique task force, unlike anything on Earth. They are employees of Meifu, the land of the dead, and they are both Shinigami, or Guardians of Death. They work their region of Japan, investigating people who are fated to die but have not, as well as souls who have passed on but refuse to leave the living world.
