Dua Lipa is an English singer, songwriter and model. Her parents are ethnic Albanians from Kosovo. Dua who was born in London, moved back to Kosovo with her family when she was 13 and back to London again when she was 15. One of her inspirations was her father, Dukagjin Lipa, who was a Kosovar rock singer. She showed off her talent as a singer by posting covers of popular artists like Christina Aguilera, The Weeknd and Nelly Furtado on YouTube.
She returned to London to pursue music.
She worked as a waitress while living in London by herself at age 15.
Lana Del Rey helped produce Lipa's first single, "New Love.&quo
