Brunette dancer in chorus and cabaret, one of the 'Plaza Girls'. She entered films as an extra in 1925 and became a leading lady with British Lion in 1928, after winning a beauty contest. Retired after 1933 to concentrate on a new career as a novelist. She was also a noted breeder of Alsatians.
