Don Porter was an American actor who appeared in a number of films in the 1940s, including "Top Sergeant" and "Eagle Squadron". He is perhaps best known for playing Senator Crocker Jarmon in Michael Ritchie's 1972 political satire "The Candidate", starring Robert Redford. Porter also served as a combat photographer in the United States Army during World War II.
