Subsequent releases like Sophisticated Boom Boom (1984, UK number 29) and Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know (1986, UK number 27) continued their success, featuring hits including "That's the Way (I Like It)" (UK number 22) and "Something in My House" (UK number 12). While their commercial peak waned in the late 1980s and 1990s, Dead or Alive maintained a dedicated following, particularly in Japan, where albums like Nude (1989) and Nukleopatra (1995) found acclaim.
