Darrel Chaney

Darrel Chaney is an American former professional baseball player and television sports color commentator. He played as an MLB shortstop from 1969 to 1979, most notably as a member of the Cincinnati Reds dynasty that won three National League pennants and a World Series championship from 1970–1975. He finished his career with the Atlanta Braves. Chaney also served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army's 478th Engineer Battalion, serving with fellow teammates Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and Bobby Tolan.
