Curtis Raymond Shideler was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He grew up in a suburb, and eventually attended GVSU. There, he acted on the stage often. Eventually, he moved down to Dallas, Texas to continue acting and attended CFNI, while doing improv shows in Dallas. Then he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he began working in commercials and films. And after moving back to Texas to attend TCU and act in more theater, he began to take interest in Producing, Directing, and Cinematography.
