Club/High School: While attending Lake Minneola High School, Courtney Cowles spent 2 years with Brandy Johnson’s Global Gymnastics Academy in Florida, under coaches Kelly Pitzen and Brandy Johnson-Scharpf. Courtney is a 4-time Junior Olympic Qualifier (2011-2013, and 2015), in addition to being a two-time State champion on three events, vault, beam, and floor. Courtney really shined on bars when she became a three-time State champion. She has a lot of potential to bring to Arizona gymnastics on all four events.
