Conrad L. Hall, A.S.C. was a French Polynesian-born American cinematographer best known for his work on such films as "Cool Hand Luke" (1967), "In Cold Blood" (1967), "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969), "American Beauty" (1999) and "Road to Perdition" (2002). For his work he garnered a number of awards, including three Academy Awards and three BAFTA Awards. He was also the son of James Norman Hall, author of "The Bounty Trilogy".
