Connie was born in 1937 in Washington, D.C. She attended a private school for girls in Danville, Virginia. At the age of 21, Connie was married to actor Tony Young but she divorced him a few years later and moved to Florida to be near her family. She was managing the cosmetics department for a large department store in Miami when her parents suggested that she apply for a job at the new Playboy Club. Connie became a "camera bunny" at the club, making a great deal of money in tips. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its June 1963 issue.
