Daniel "Colt" McCoy, born September 5, 1986 in Hobbs, New Mexico, is an American football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
McCoy was the starting quarterback for The University of Texas at Austin. McCoy won the 2008 Walter Camp Award and was the 2008 Heisman Trophy runner-up. McCoy won more games (45) than any quarterback in NCAA Division I history. In his senior year, he won 13 of the top 15 major college player awards including quarterback of the year, offensive player of the year and outstanding football player of the year.
