Christopher has been involved in movie making since elementary school, when he wrote, acted, directed, and created the "special" effects for his first movie "King Kong Vs. Prometheus." Christopher continued this trend, through junior high to high school, when he made home movies for various classes. Among them: "The Stamp Act," "The Reign of Terror," "Odak: Island of the Unknown," "N.T.S.B." and "The Drug Wars: Evil on Two Legs." His love of acting and theatre also began in the early 90's when as a small boy, his family had taken him to see a production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber version of "The Phantom of the Opera," while also growing up watching classic Universal, Hammer & Toho, monster movies. Many years later, Christopher would eventually play The Phantom in a production of the Kopit/Yeston version of the story on stage.
In 2003, Christopher directed, edited, and scored his first "fan-film" entitled "Halloween: Evil's Reign." The fan-film was a full length feature, shot on Hi-8, that was screened at the "Halloween Returns to Haddonfield" 25th Anniversary Convention in Pasadena. The film was submitted into the convention's "Fan-Film Contest" where it received honorable mention. During this time, Gomez was studying cinema production at Rancho Cucamonga's Chaffey College. It was at the campus that Gomez befriended, and collaborated with, fellow student filmmakers Del Capelo, Patrick Kusnadi, Eddie Hugo Smith and James Welday.
Between 2005 to 2011, Christopher had been working for the City of Beverly Hills, while simultaneously working at Universal Studios as a performer, and acting in regional theatre productions throughout the L.A. and Inland Empire areas. His position at the City of Bevery Hills was that of a video production assistant for the city's government municipal cable channel. It was at this job that he began an association with film director Richard Gale ("Horribly Slow Murderer with the Inefficient Weapon") and in 2006, collaborated with Gale for the, widely acclaimed, short horror film "Criticized." In 2007, through the City of Beverly Hills, Gomez received a Los Angeles Area Emmy award for "Best Public Service Announcement." This was also in collaboration with Gale, and others in the department. In the PSA, entitled "Do You Know CPR?", Gomez had helped out with the casting and P.A. work, as well as have a brief on screen appearance.
Christopher had shot "Our Lady of Paris" in 2008. A dark, and faithful, adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel "Notre-Dame de Paris." The film, which Gomez directed, scored and acted in, had scenes actually shot at the real Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France and is still in post production.
In 2005, Christopher had mounted a one-man show where he re-enacted the entire film "Superman II: The Adventure Continues." The live 2 hour performance was a charity event to raise money, and donate the ticket sales to the American Red Cross for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Through the advice of actress Margot Kidder (who had played Lois Lane in the movie), Christopher once again mounted another, improved, production of the one-man show in 2010. This time performing in Orange County and raising money for the victims of the earthquake in Port-Au Prince, Haiti.
