Chiquita Johnson was born on April 6, 1938 in Prague, Czechoslovakia as Erna Grabler.
Teamed with John von Kralik to form the popular ballet-adagio dance duo of "Chiquita and Johnson" during the 1950s and early 60s, appearing on "The Ed Sullivan Show," Jack Benny's "Shower of Stars," and "The Red Skelton Show" among others. The number one opening act at the time they opened shows for the likes of Benny, Jerry Lewis, Lena Horne, Carol Channing, Skelton, Liberace, Perry Como and Frank Sinatra.
