Charles W. Bailey II

Charles Waldo Bailey II was an American journalist, newspaper editor and author. His best-known novel is "Seven Days in May" (1962), co-authored with Fletcher Knebel, about an attempted military coup in the United States. The book was a great success, reaching number one on The New York Times bestseller list, and was made into a successful movie of the same in 1964.
