Charles Hale Hoyt

Charles Hale Hoyt was an American playwright, a sportswriter, a music and drama critic, and a politician. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire. He worked as a sportswriter and as a music and drama critic for The Boston Post. One of his famous plays was A Parlor Match. Maude Adams, a famous American actress, played in his play called A Midnight Bell in 1889. His first wife was Flora Walsh, and his second wife was Caroline Miskel Hoyt. He died after Miskel Hoyt, their son, and Walsh died from illnesses.
