Zhou Yu (ๅจ็), style name: Gongjin (ๅ
ฌ็พ), is a character and one of the major protagonists in the 14th-century Chinese classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by the late Luo Guanzhong, and its multiple adaptations. He is the strategist of the Wu Kingdom and a husband of Xiao Qiao, the sworn brother of Sun Ce, and one of the most famous generals of Sun Quan as well as an arch-rival of Zhuge Liang.
