Victor Byron was the last leader of The Society, the secret organization of Type-V mutants that dwindled to a handful of members following the Geo Catastrophe in ES 55 that wiped out most of the Earth's population. He appeared in a series of flashbacks centering on Caerula Sanguis (then known as Vilma Fachiri) that revealed how the world of Battle Angel Alita came to be more than 500 years before the events of Battle Angel Alita: Last Order. Victor was the most powerful Type-V mutant and husband of Vilma Fachiri.
