Formerly a founding partner of Cale-Anderson Pharmaceuticals (along with her friend Leslie Anderson). Veronica had an antagonistic relationship with Wonder Woman for a time. Later, after being abducted to Oolong Island with a number of other scientists, Veronica was freed and helped Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman defeat the 4 Horsemen of Apokolips. She subsequently became president of Oolong Island and an ally of the Doom Patrol.
