True giants are a global category of cryptohominid recognised and researched primarily by Mark A. Hall and Loren Coleman.[1] The term encompasses cryptohominids which are alleged to stand around 10-20 ft (3-6 m) high, at the extreme upper end of the cryptohominid size scale. True giants share several similarities besides size, such as lean builds, flat faces, just four toes or fingers, and large canine teeth, a characteristic of non-human great apes.

According to Coleman, reports of true giants are a "cryptozoological taboo" generally considered embarrassing by hominologists. Coleman and Hall co-authored a book on the subject, also titled True Giants (2010).
