The Rake is a monster found in internet-based urban legends such as those found in the /x/ threads of 4chan - it is supposed to invoke similar reactions as ghost stories and cryptid sightings of the past and is often passed off as a "real" occurrence even though it is fictional (like almost all "creepy pasta" lore) and tertiary antagonist in ARG EverymanHYBRID, and primary antagonist of Whispered Faith.
