Sydney Katherine Sage is an Alchemist, a human charged with keeping the vampire world a secret from humans who first appears in Blood Promise. She is also the narrator of the spin-off series Bloodlines, becoming a co-narrator for the rest of the series starting with The Fiery Heart (the other co-narrator being Adrian Ivashkov). In Bloodlines,she became a witch.
