Shimura

Shimura is a fictional hero appearing in his own self-titled comic strip published in the British science fiction anthology Judge Dredd Megazine, detailing his exploits in Hondo City, a futuristic version of Tokyo.

In his first appearance Judge Inspector Shimura was essentially a Japanese equivalent of Judge Dredd, but in all stories thereafter he has become a ronin after surviving an attempt on his life by a traitor in the Judiciary, and operates as a vigilante.
