Sheriff Hassan

Sheriff Hassan is a character on the Netflix original horror series Midnight Mass. He is portrayed by Rahul Kohli.

Sheriff Hassan is the resident sheriff on Crockett Island. He moved there with his son Ali after his wife died from her battle with cancer. Given his Muslim beliefs, this has resulted in distrust and tension between the sheriff and the extremely religious, mostly Catholic residents, who mock him by referring to him as "Sharif" instead of "Sheriff." Despite this, Hassan remains a man of faith and prays with his son every night.
