Senbei Norimaki

Senbei Norimaki (則巻千兵衛; also spelled as 則巻センベエ) is Penguin Village's goofy and lecherous genius inventor. His greatest accomplishment is the creation of a powerful robot in the guise of a little girl who he adopts as his daughter named Arale who often calls him "Hakase" (博士). In the Harmony Gold English Dub, his real name is never uttered since everyone keeps calling him "Dr. Slump". Despite the anime and manga's title referring to his nickname, Arale is the real main character of the series, this was lampshaded in one volume of the manga.
