Ruler (Joan Of Arc)

Ruler is a fictional character from the Fate anime and the female protagonist of the anime series Fate/Apocrypha. She is a fictional representation of the historical figure Joan of Arc and serves as the mediator of the Greater Grail War, ensuring that it occurs fairly. She is later forced to take a more active stance in the war when Amakusa Shirou Tokisada plans to usurp the Grail and as the war progresses, she falls in love with the homunculus Sieg. Ruler is characterized by her bravery, compassion and humility, being utterly devoted to her duties, but her connection with Sieg causes her to wonder if she can truly earn something that she does not have to share with the rest of the world.
