The main protagonist of Burn-Up W, Burn-Up Excess and Burn-Up Scramble.

Burn-Up W/Excess:
Rio is Team Warrior's "Pointwoman" and field commando on many missions. A blonde yet ditzy bombshell who is the expert martial artist from hand-to-hand to firearms. She has an infatuated love for shopping to the point she can't money in her wallet due to her spending habits keeping her in eternal debt. Thus Rio is always looking for good-paying jobs to support her lifestyle until she finds a wealthy Mr. Right.

Eventually, Rio joined the Police Department's First Division in Policetown where she landed a desk job, which wasn't enough to pay the bills. However, Commander Maki Kawasaki scouted her to join the force's Special-Ops, Team Warriors for her admirable physique to which she gratefully accepts because of the pay.

Burn-Up Scramble:
Rio is the volatile blonde leader of the Warriors. Rio is just as good at physical combat as her previous incarnation and is now able to dodge bullets. She is the character that most resembles her counterpart from W and Excess. She bears very similar character designs and personality traits, however now she is more driven to seek a happy love life than her previous obsessions with fashion and spending in the earlier series.

Personality:
Beautiful in more ways on the outside, Rio is the type of woman always trying to find the easy way out. Easygoing and reckless as an irresponsible teenager, Rio tries to hook up with any rich guy she can find in hopes that his wealth can satisfy all her desires.

Skills:
- Expert Marital Artist: Rio trained under a variety of disciplines consisting of: Karate, Judo, Aikido, Shaolin Kempo, Taekwondo, Marksmanship, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, etc.
- Enhanced Physique: Rio training in martial arts envelops her status to have power and speed that the average person, following with animal-like instinct.
