Renato / Batman

Batman, also known as Renato, is Jean Claude's first partner, and usually seems to reciprocate his affections. In the second and third seasons, he reappears as a ghost; his spirit is always uncovered and intent on advising the baronet on his romantic problems. This, however, doesn't help him at all, as Renato always suggests the baronet the worst possible solution to his problems. He reappears, alive and masked, in seasons 11 and 12 to protect Jean Claude, with whom he begins a new, troubled relationship. In these latter seasons, he tends to falsely accuse the baronet of being responsible for accidents and mishaps.
