The Red Demon (赤鬼 Akaoni) is a boss in Cave Story found in Last Cave. It is possible that the Red Demon is the monster that Jack tells Quote that Arthur chased away from Mimiga Village, as they have the same name. If Quote defeats the Red Demon, he'll obtain some Energy Crystals and the Clay Figure Medal, which has no use, but shows that he defeated the Red Demon, also known as red troll.
