Ranpo (乱歩) is a character featured in Lost Judgment. He is the Amasawa family's dog, mostly belonging to the family's elder daughter, Kyoko Amasawa. When Amasawa was young, she read a book about a detective whose dog helped her solve a case, inspiring her to train Ranpo to do the same.

Ranpo frequently scurries off in search of cases to solve. Due to this, police and animal shelter members often catch him, and Amasawa has to pick him up and apologize for the inconvenience.
