Poom Poom

Poom Poom (プームプーム, Pūmu Pūmu) is a primary antagonist of Boogiepop Phantom anime. He is an electromagnetic lifeform, similar to Boogiepop Phantom and Manticore Phantom, created by Manaka Kisaragi from the memories of Mamoru Oikawa. He has the ability to extract the childhood memories left behind by adults using his red balloons, recreating their youthful selves and leaving the original selves debilitated. As such, he is treated as an Enemy of the World by Boogiepop.
